Rapid industrialization gives rise in deterioration of the quality air. This phenomenon is taking place in almost all the urban areas throughout the world . the net results is that the industrial revolution and modern civilization make the air we breathe into a waste -basket in which ,dust ,noxious fumes ,toxis gases , odor, smoke and mist are given out .the population on the earth is increasing with time and people generate large amount of wastes. population growth clearly has a great deal to do with increases,the discharged human waste also increases .industrial operations ,motor vehicles ,air traffic etc .gives rise to noise pollution in the environment .the health effects of noise pollution are varying .the most important and acute effect is the equipment of hearing .it can cause damage to some part of the auditory system in human beings . acute damage can occur to the eardrums when exposed to very loud and sudden noise.the paper discusses the pollution from various source,major factors responsible for pollution and control of pollution
